Pultrusion is a continuous manufacturing process in which specially arranged patterns of resin-rich reinforcing fibers and fabrics are drawn from steel molds to form profiles of consistent cross-section and length. Fiber-reinforced plastics or glass-fiber-reinforced plastics have emerged as the preferred building materials. Also known as FRP or GRP, they are used for many purposes, from oil transportation to passage construction.
